Creating Queue Versions

You can create multiple versions of a queue to test and refine a queue. You can also use queue versions to have variations that you use with different campaigns. Use the version of a queue as the basis for what you want to do, rather than creating multiple queues that are similar.

To create a version of a queue using the configuration console:

  1. Go to Flows > Queues.
  2. Click the name of the queue you want to add a new version to.
    The queue details panel appears.
  3. Under Versions, click on the plus sign () to open the Creating New Queue Version panel.
  4. Make the changes to the query and priority settings.
  5. Optionally, select a Service Level Agreement (SLA).

    If you assign an SLA to a queue, the update takes effect for new enqueuements only and not for interactions already in the queue.

  6. Click Create.
    The new queue version is saved as an inactive version. To make it active, set it as the queue's active version.
